Sourdough Pecan Waffles


In a large mixing bowl measure out 2 cups sourdough starter.

Add 2 eggs, beaten, ½ cup cooking oil, ½ cup milk, and beat well. In separate bowl, mix together ½ cup all purpose flour, 2 tspn baking powder, ½ tspn salt, ¼ tspn baking soda,1 tspn grated orange peel and 1 tbsp sugar.

Add all at once to starter mixture. Beat just till blended. Spread batter on lightly greased, preheated waffle grids. Sprinkle with ¼ cup pecans. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
